Our guest for this week is Brian High, of Northstar/DFW Carriages. Brian is a very warm and energetic individual who manages a horse-drawn carriage touring small business in the heart of Dallas. He and his horses allow Texans to tour the lovely downtown with some explanations on the sites. Brian is recently troubled with some upcoming legislation, as Dallas is considering a ban on horse-drawn carriages due to the argument that the practice is not safe for the horses. However, Brian refutes this by stating that he has studied horses extensively and, in full confidence, ensures that his practices are comfortable for the horses and that he never overworks them. We loved having Brian on the podcast; he was super informative and confident in his beliefs, and the topic was so interesting.
